Following a recent series of mechanistic objects for my prints: buses, cars, tractors etc., I have finished some ‘hearts’ series which are now a card and print run. Some galleries and shops have taken stock, so I am pleased this run of good fortune is continuing. Painted a new sequence of images that will become a series of prints – some of which are ‘snowflakes, socks & signs’. Also, in the studio I am making good progress with some larger-scale oil paintings, mainly figurative in a pseudo-neo-classical style. I love the smell of oil-paint in the [late] morning.
